Thanks for Volunteering

Thank you for signing up to volunteer at Christmas at the Warner. We’re excited to have you on the team! This page will have up-to-the-minute information that you’ll need before and during the event.

A Special Message from Pastor Derek

If you missed the rally at the Warner Theater on Tuesday, take a moment to watch this powerful challenge to our team before you serve this week!

Where’s the volunteer entrance?

Good question. It’s on 9th Street near French Street. Watch the video below to see where you need to go:

Main Instructions

Instructions from French St.

Parking, Entrance, and Security

Please feel free to park at the Erie Parking Authority Lot B north of the Warner if it is open. We also have secured the ERIE Insurance lot across from the Erie Insurance Arena.

  • All volunteers, except for tech and creative teams (use main backstage doors), must use the designated volunteer entrance on 9th Street. There will be a security check at this door where you will show your CATW lanyard (your email from 12/18, or this lanyard phot, if you don’t have your lanyard yet) to get in.
  • Only volunteers who have preregistered will be permitted to enter the Warner early. All other attendees must wait until the main doors open to the public one hour ahead.
  • Please note that all volunteers must wear credentials unless on stage.

Volunteer Central

You will find Volunteer Central on the third floor in the new addition of the theater. Head straight up the stairs after you show your credentials (there is an elevator around the corner if needed). Please make this your first stop so we can officially check you in. Because of new security procedures at the Warner, we ask all volunteers to come to volunteer central an hour and a half before each service or directly after you attend a service. While there, you will have time to enjoy food and fellowship, participate in a quick rally with everyone you’re serving, and meet your team leaders to get any last-minute instructions/changes.

YOU ARE THE STORYTELLERS! Take a minute while you are in volunteer central to use our Storytelling Station and snap a fun picture or record a story about a special moment that happened while you were serving at Christmas at the Warner. We can’t wait to hear about how God continues to move in special and unique ways!

GET MAPS

Guest Experience and Burn Barrel Teams:

Please click the buttons below to view the maps for each service. You’ll find the location you’ll be serving and a document with a description of your role. Here is the CATW GET Roles and Info document you were emailed, as well.

  • If you don’t find your name on the first map you look at, be sure to check the Main Floor and the Balcony maps.
  • If you’re serving at more than one service, thank you, and we’ve done our best to assign you to the same location but there were a few instances we weren’t able to keep you in the same location.
  • As always, sickness and emergencies happen, and volunteers sometimes need to cancel at the last minute so please be flexible if we need to change your role/location and be sure to check the maps at check-in to be sure your assignment hasn’t changed.
  • Any questions can be directed to Diane.
  • Thank you and HAVE FUN!
