of Caring

Community of Caring's mission is to meet basic human needs in a loving way. They strive to end the cycle of homelessness by providing comprehensive programming that correctly and adequately prepares the individual for successful long-term housing.

The majority of their resources go into providing emergency shelter for homeless persons and helping clients become established in long-term affordable housing. They also operate a food pantry, serve three daily meals for the community at their shelter, and offer resource coordination to connect residents with support services.

This year, ServErie will be collecting specific items for the Community of Caring. We will have drop-off areas outside each entrance to the Warner Theater, so bring them with you when you come! Community of Caring is in need of these specific, new, items:

  • Bar soap
  • Body wash
  • Feminine products
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Toothpaste
  • Paper plates (6" and 9")

  • Disposable coffee cups (styrofoam)

  • Paper towels

  • Napkins

  • Tissues

  • Toilet Paper
